New construction and additions must be approved by the committee.
YOUR REAL ESTATE AGENT SHOULD PROVIDE YOU WITH A COPY OF YOUR COVENANTS PRIOR TO, OR AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. PLEASE OBTAIN A COPY PRIOR TO PURCHASING YOUR PROPERTY & READ THEM TO ENSURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO USE YOUR PROPERTY AS YOU INTEND. WE PROVIDE THE COPY BELOW.
Prior to all new construction, additions and improvements to Merrywood properties, i.e., storage, barns, out buildings etc., please review the Merrywood Estates Covenants and Restrictions which are located above - Merrywood Cov 696-723.pdf. Plans, Specs and Plot Plans must be sent to the Arch Committee for review and approval. All documents should be professionally generated and mirror those sent to St Tammany Parish as the Merrywood Estates Approval will be predicated on St Tammany Parish approval.
Merrywood Estates is an A-1 subdivision and must adhere to St. Tammany
Parish guidelines regarding Parish building codes and approval also.
The process of being in compliance for building is simple. Please email all questions to MerrywoodPOA@gmail.com or call MJ (314) 324-0796 and then provide a set of plans for approval. We are happy to review and answer any questions!
